Find Out the Exact Location of Mt Everest, which is at the highest peak in the world, is also known as Sagarmatha in Nepali which is about 8848 m high from the sea level located in the eastern part of Nepal. Mt Everest is also known as Mt Chomolungma or Qomolangma in Tibetan which means the “Goddess Mother of the World”. Mt Everest is the coldest region of our country Nepal. Pasang Lhamu Sherpa was the very first Nepali woman from Nepal who had climbed the Mt Everest but Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay Sherpa are the first successful person who climbed the Mt Everest and returned back to home. Because of that, they are still known all over the world.
Mainly Sherpa people live there. The life of people of Mt Everest is not good. Their lifestyle differs from the people of Terai and the Himalayan region. As they do not have cultivable land the agriculture is impossible there, so the people only eat barley and potatoes. People wear thick and woollen clothes as it is the coldest region of our country Nepal. Bakhu and Docha is the name of the clothes which is worn by the girls and boys. Mainly the animals like yak are found there and also used it for carrying heavier loads. Except for yak, Himalayan black bears, red panda etc. are also present there in the region. In Everest, there is no cultivable land so for feeding they take yaks far away from their home.
The highlight of Everest region there are Many hotels are opened there and because of tourism, people of Mountain region have got the opportunity of improving their lifestyle and many more things and also they got the opportunity to learn a western language and their culture. Mt Everest attracts many peoples and climbers. There are two climbing routes, one is the southeast route from Nepal and another from the north in Tibet, but basically, the southeast route is mainly used.
